Who Makes the City in the Digital Age? What are the City Makers approaches and potential, and how can they interact? These are the questions addressed during “City Making in the Digital Age”, the kick-off event of City Lab, a co-operation between Hybrid Space Lab and Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society.
City Lab provides a platform for Smart Citizens, bridging the gap between data- and city-experts and civil society and governance and addressing compelling issues at the merging of the Digital Age and the Urban Age.
City Making in the Digital Age takes place on 21 February 2019, 19:00-20:30 at Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society and features as a keynote speaker Marleen Stikker, co-founder of Waag Society, an Amsterdam based interdisciplinary non-profit media lab and research institute that aims to put social values at the core of technology by creating and promoting open, fair and inclusive innovations.
