At the Intersection of Technology and the Built Environment.

Since Kevin Ashton coined the term Internet of Things in 1999 the issue has developed with an astonishing speed.
Recently, some 15 years on, the Internet of Things or IoT has changed from focusing on ‘things’ to an emphasis on ‘everything’, with a more recent articulation into ‘people’.
Parallel came the development of the Smart City.

The lecture Hybridnet & Industry 4.0 will be streamed from the Hannover Messe 2014 and will take place at the Holland Smart City House in the TV studio, Halle 16, Metropolitan Solutions.
