Hybrid Space Lab @ [Hybrid]Forum Conference 2026

Embodied knowledge, design practices, and living archives in hybrid spaces.

[Hybrid]Forum 12 explores how design, communication, and knowledge processes in architecture are changing under conditions of increasing digitality and virtuality—and how embodied knowledge in motion (e.g., as gesture or interaction) can be methodically tapped into, conveyed, and archived as a design resource in hybrid, digitally and virtually augmented spaces.

A distinctive feature of the format is the combination of scholarly lectures, artistic-performative practice, and technical implementation in the XR+LAB.

The aim is to facilitate not only traditional presentations but also hybrid forms of presentation, and to experiment with a “living archive” as a spatially experiential form of knowledge.
