BUGA 05 in Munich provides food for thought. As a contribution to the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development, which begins in 2005, a total of four symposia will be held in cooperation with the German UNESCO Commission. The following topics will be discussed at the symposia with high-ranking experts and interested members of the public: Sustainable Economy Perspective, City Perspective, Cultural Landscape Perspective, Art and Landscape Perspective.

The Perspective City symposium is a joint event The Bundesgartenschau München 2005 GmbH and the City of Munich have developed the program together with many cooperation partners. The symposium is intended as a prelude. It will be continued in many further events organized by the participating partners.
