The “Berlin Questions Conference for the Immediate Present” (often called Q BERLIN) is Berlin’s annual metropolitan forum for global dialogue. Initiated in 2017 and organized by visitBerlin on behalf of the Berlin Senate, it brings together mayors, politicians, and thought leaders to discuss pressing urban and global issues.The conference is designed as a transdisciplinary platform to foster exchange between civil society, politics, and culture. Historically, it has tackled themes like urban resilience, social justice, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and navigating global crises.

The “Marathon for the New Now” is a dense program of continuous short pitches and talks by international experts, artists, and entrepreneurs, exploring the future of the city of Berlin. The Marathon’s central question is: If you only had five minutes, how would you describe the future of the metropolis.
