Iannis Xenakis spent most of his life in France,  studied composition with Arthur Honegger, Darius Milhaud and Olivier Messiaen and worked with the architect Le Corbusier. Xenakis combined the composition process with mathematical modeling, stochastic processes, and game theory, having a big impact on the development of electronic music.
